It's been great for hearing a seminar where the speakers are placed about the room. The events are simulcast on a local radio frequency and ta da! I hear like I'm on stage. Its a bit painful in the ears when worn for hours at a time. Recommend it come with a protective box to protect the headphones when packed in luggage or in a purse. Thanks Texas R.
